Rafting is one of the most popular adventure sports activity in the country today. Rishikesh, a Himalayan mountain town on the banks of Ganges where Paddler Zone is stationed. We, at Paddler Zone offer a magnificent White-Water-Rafting in the river Ganges at Shivpuri in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. Sweeping overboard by the churning Rapids of the river Ganges, enjoying in the water waves with helmets and Life Jackets. Drifting in the raft in calm emerald-colored water in the foothills of the Himalayas one bank of the river is a long beach of beige stones leading to a pink Hindu temple, and on the other, mossy boulders and towering slabs of rust-colored rock. All around are lush peaks rising from the river valley.

The thrill of riding white-water rapids, that too in one of the world’s legendary rivers, taking a plunge in its sacred waters, attracts rafters to Rishikesh during September to June – the paddling season. At Rishikesh, the river Ganges is close to glacial source, making it clear and stunningly green. It is wide with long sections of flat but swift-moving water interrupted by a handful of class 3 rapids, including Roller Coasters — sometimes strong enough to flip an eight-person raft.
